Employers in The Netherlands have 3 possibilities to arrange a long term work and residence permit for their non-EU foreign employees

  • Through the EU Intra Corporate Transfer program

    The EUICT regulates residence permits on EU level due to transfers of managers, specialists and trainees of international group companies.

  • Through the Knowledge Migrants program

    This program can be used for non-EU employees who will be employed by the applying Dutch entity, which must be a recognized sponsor at the IND.

  • Through the Dutch “GVVA” program
    (paid employment)

    GVVA is an abbreviation of “Gecombineerde Vergunning voor Verblijf en Arbeid”, in English: Combined Permit for Residency and Labour.
